Besides the 1971 Cheveolet, I have a 1963 Volkswagon convertible and a 2004 Chysler PT Crusier. The chevrolet was originally purchased by my father in 1971 and it wasused as a family vehicle until he passed away in 1974. Then it was in stoarge most of the time until 2002 when I decided to start showing the car. The car has been re-painted the original color with just a few pices of chrome replaced. i purchased the PT Crusiser new in 2004 and after driving it for 2 months I decided to dress it up a bit and show it also. I aquired the volkswagon in September of 2006 when a friend wanted to trade it for my 1931 Model A Ford. September 2006 I retired after 41 years of working for Baker and Tayor in Momence Illinois. I now have time to work on my cars and ejoy them. I really enjoy getting out to the car shows and crusie-ins and spending time with friends and family. My son Cory has a car he takes to shows and we spend time together and my son Brian also helps me drive cars to and from events. One of the greatest things that happened to me this past summer was being accepted in “The Boyz Car Club.”
